One of the favorite cuisines that my family and I love is Japanese! I mean who doesn't right? From ramens, to wagyu beefs, to sashimis and sushis, ahh name it all and before you even finish talking rest assured that we are waiting for the next rounds of plates! haha!
When I was still in college, my boyfriend and I used to eat at Tempura Japanese Grill. This became our budget go to Japanese restaurant. Okay some people might say this is a bit higher than the budget meal but let me get things straight, this is NOT fast food and there is no way that you can compare this to a fast food. I mean, "Quality pa lang and taste, and the service of the crew, malayong malayo sa fast food".
So when I was invited to one of their newest branch at Visayas Avenue for lunch to try some of their best sellers and check out their new products in the menu I immediately said yes! And one of my favorite Japanese food is Shrimp tempura and Sukiyaki. I brought with me my sister because between the two of us, she likes Japanese more than I do.

The place was clean and the service crew were very accommodating to our request. I suggest for you to go an hour or so before lunch time because it can get crowded. We got there around 11:30 and the place was almost full! This was taken around 2:30PM already.
this is just a normal California Maki for us. You know the taste of this! haha! The other one has Mangoes on top I forgot what was inside but this tasted so good! Just show them the photo if you plan to try it out!
Loved their Gyoza! You can taste the pan fry crisp on the outside yet soft and tender meats inside. The Sukiyaki though was a bit sweet for us. But I think you can ask if they can reduce the sweetness but nonetheless, it was delicious and has a lot of meat and veggies! (In short, hindi tinipid sa laman) :)
Who wouldn't love Chicken Teriyaki? It was grilled perfectly! The "charred" is just right and doesn't have that burnt taste. The other one I I forgot what it was called but it has Seafoods in it. A bit spicy but it has cheese on top so it toned down the spicy taste which I like because FYI guys, I don't like spicy foods! haha! but I ate this one! yummy!!!

This one is called Sushi Donut I don't eat raw meat so I just asked my sister and she said that the salmon and tuna doesn't have a foul smell, and tasted fresh.

Last but not the least, Shrimp Tempura!!!! it was served right as well. The breadings were very cripy and not oily that will actually looked like you had lip gloss! haha meat were also tender and not overcooked!
BTW guys, they have on going promos! Be sure not to miss any of it as it will definitely save you some dimes!
